Dr. Eric Munson and Schnapps

I was born and raised in rural North Dakota. After receiving my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University in May of 1970, I joined the Veterinary Corp of the US Army and was stationed in Yokohoma, Japan from February 1971 to February 1974 as Captain in the US Army.

Upon my return to the United States, I practiced veterinary medicine as an associate in a large small animal practice in Oklahoma City from April 1974 to December 1976. I became a partner of a small animal practice located in Lawton, Oklahoma from Janiary 1977 to April 1987.

My family and I moved to Wisconsin in 1988 where I continued to practice veterinary medicine in the Delafield area as an associate and maintained a full-time position as a Veterinarian at the Emergency Veterinary Service in Waukesha from May 1988 through October 1996.

In November 1996, I purchased the Veterinary Medical Associates, Inc. practice and have owned and managed it since. My areas of interest in the veterinary field are surgery, anesthesia, hospitalized care, and practice management.

I have 2 daughters living in the area and a son who resides in Austin, Texas. My interests outside of my work include landscaping, flower gardening and exercising.
